Working with a local lender is the way to go
We all want to make sure we get the best terms when we shop for our financing just as we want the best possible deal on a home. It seems so logical and easy to shop the loan online and sometimes it works out but very often what you see is not what you get. There is a lot more to it than just getting an interest rate quote.
In todays financing environment every aspect such as past credit issues, employment records ( especially if you are a new hire), property values and inspection are questioned over and over again. You need someone that knows you and that you trust to share your most personal information with. When there are property issues you need someone to work with your Realtor to solve those issues.
